At Goliat Containers, we maintain a nationwide network of warehouses across the U.S. to ensure fast delivery and competitive pricing. While we understand that some customers prefer to inspect a container in person, on-site visits are not typically available for the following reasons:
Why Can’t I Visit the Warehouse?
Logistical Challenges:
- Our containers are stored in secure, high-volume yards optimized for shipping efficiency—not retail walk-ins. These locations often require appointments, safety training, and escort access, which are impractical for individual buyers.
- Many of our warehouses are in industrial zones (e.g., near ports, rail hubs) with limited public access.
Inventory Rotation:
- Containers move quickly between locations based on demand. The unit you see online today may be relocated or sold by the time you arrive.
Safety & Insurance:
- Our warehouses are active work sites with heavy machinery (e.g., cranes, forklifts). Unscheduled visits pose liability risks for both you and our team.
Fairness to All Customers:
- Allowing in-person inspections for some buyers would create unequal access, as most customers rely on our detailed descriptions, photos, and condition guarantees.
We’ve designed a 3-step verification process to ensure you receive a container that meets your expectations—without needing to visit our warehouse:
1. Detailed Online Listings
Every container on our website includes: ✔ High-resolution photos (exterior, interior, doors, flooring, and any noted defects). ✔ Condition ratings (e.g., “Wind & Watertight,” “Cargo-Worthy,” “One-Trip”). ✔ Specifications (dimensions, age, CSC plate details, modifications if applicable). ✔ Common use cases (e.g., “Ideal for storage,” “Suitable for modifications”).
🔍 Pro Tip: Use the “Request More Photos” button on the product page to ask for additional angles or close-ups.
2. Pre-Shipment Verification Call
After you place an order, our sales team will contact you within 24 hours to:
Confirm your intended use (storage, modification, transport, etc.).
Review the container’s condition in detail, including:
- Any cosmetic flaws (surface rust, dents, paint chipping).
- Structural integrity (floor condition, door seals, corner castings).
- Modifications (if applicable, e.g., vents, insulation, electrical).
Answer your questions and address concerns before shipment.
Provide a final opportunity to cancel or adjust your order if the container doesn’t meet your needs.
This call is your chance to back out—no questions asked, and no fees.
3. Our “No-Surprises” Return Policy
If the container arrives and doesn’t match the described condition (e.g., undisclosed leaks, major structural damage), we offer:
14-Day Inspection Period:
- You have 14 days from delivery to thoroughly inspect the container.
- If it fails to meet the agreed-upon condition, contact us immediately with photos/videos of the issue.
Hassle-Free Returns:
- We’ll arrange a pickup at our expense and issue a full refund (including delivery fees).
- No restocking fees—we stand by our quality guarantees.
⚠ Exceptions:
- The return policy does not cover dissatisfaction with cosmetic issues (e.g., minor rust, dents) if they were disclosed pre-shipment.
- Modified containers (e.g., painted, cut, or customized) are non-returnable unless there’s a defect in workmanship.
